The Church of St.Serafim Sarovsky

Brothers and sisters!

Welcome to the home page of Saint Serafim Sarovsky Church in Alexandrov, Vladimir region, Russia.

Our church was one of the first in Russia which had St.Serafim as a Patron Saint. It was built on donations of citizens of Alexandrov and travellers by Moscow Railways. In 1928 the church was closed and nearly completely destroyed.
On September 1, 2003 the building of the church was finally transferred to Vladimir eparchy. Currently the church is under renovation. Your support would be highly appreciated.
